About Tom
Tom Nunn has been professionally surveying, managing and operating seagoing vessels for over 25 years. A member of the Society of Accredited Marine Surveyors (SAMS), Tom has met the strict professional, technical and ethical standards required to be designated a SAMS Accredited Marine Surveyor. Surveying vessels from 23 to 110 ft. in length, he has extensive experience with both power and sail boats, multihulls and monohulls. His inspection, evaluation and reporting process allows his clients, be they buyers, insurance companies, brokerages or sellers, to make the best decisions regarding their interests.

In addition to being an AMS member of the Society of Accredited Marine Surveyors, he is a member of the American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC), the Tampa Bay Mariners Club professional association, and holds a current U.S. Coast Guard 100 Ton Master’s license. He has sailed most of the world’s oceans and has captained two trans-Atlantic crossings. After Undergraduate studies at the University of California, Tom earned an MA degree in Environmental Policy from Tufts University.

Whether buying, selling or insuring your boat, you want an experienced marine surveyor whom you can trust. Sail or power, every vessel we survey gets the same attention to detail, providing our clients with the information necessary to make the right decision.
